Tomasz Boba placed 6th in the CAT 3/4 race of the seventh annual Hillsboro-Roubaix. The race was won by Chris Wallace (Mesa Cycles), on a sole attack with 12 miles to go. Wallace was pursued by a four man chase, with three managing to finish ahead of the main field. Tomasz Boba got 2nd in the field sprint for 6th overall.
Due to the field filling very quickly, Boba was WDT's sole entry in the Hillsboro-Roubaix. Complete race results are available from USCF.
March 9th and 16th
Team WDT got the season off to a strong start at the Kenosha Spring Training Criteriums. On March 9th, Dennis Sandquist placed first in CAT 4; Tomasz Boba placed 2nd in CAT 3; and Richard Adamczyk placed 2nd in the 50+ division. On March 16th, Dennis Sandquist won again in CAT 4 and Tomasz Boba won the CAT 3. Richard Adamczyk placed 2nd again in the 50+ division. This is Dennis' 3rd year racing for WDT and these were his first career wins. Other WDT riders competing in the Spring Training Criteriums were Chris Gola, Jason Torres, and Voytek Glinkowski.
