Now that everyone is back and maybe into the swing of things again we can write a little about the Colorado trip. First off, it was an incredible trip and we could not thank WDT-Allvoi enough for providing everything they did. Colorado Springs is an awesome town for training and Jayson loved the views. We were welcomed to Sunny and upper 70's weather the first two days we got there and then mid 50's for the rest of the week. There was only one downturn to the trip being that they received two feet of snow the last two days we were there. We made the best of the five days we were able to ride fitting in a few hundred miles.

Also this Saturday was interesting with the weather at the Burnham Racing Spring Super Crit. Temperatures started around the 37 degree mark ending around 32 with rain/sleet. Chris, Ricardo, Tomazs, and Waylon made it out to race. Tomazs had a good day taking 2nd in the 30+ and 13th or so in the P/1/2/3. Chris, Ricardo, and Waylon ended up with a pack finish in the 3/4's race. Lots of props to the Tomazs in the P/1/2/3 putting up with the 32 degree weather with rain, that did not look fun racing in.

It turned out to be an incredible day in Kenosha, sunny skies and right around 55 degrees Fahrenheit, although rather windy as the day progressed. Today kicked off the first outdoor race of the year, it was a 0.7 mile criterium in Kenosha Wisconsin.

The results have not been released yet but WDT-Allvoi took three wins today! Monika took the womens race, Tomek won in the 30+ with Doug Peterson initiating the winning break and hammering it - to line Tomek up for the win, and in the 4's Alex Bolivar showed an astounding performance taking the win from a three man break away that came down to a sprint.

In the category 3 race WDT-Allvoi had very good representation with six members toeing the line. Ricardo Otero placed 2nd and Waylon Janowiak took 3rd when it came down to a sprint finish. This could not have been done if it were not for Doug, Brian, and Voytek, chasing down a break that had a very high chance of taking it to the line.

In the category 1/2 race there were four members that started and placing very well yet again. Nathan Moorhouse jumped on a break literally no more than 10 meters from the start of the race and ended up lapping the field. Tomek inititiated his own break and lapped the field as well eventually catching Nates group, it was bit confusing but in the end Tomek placed 4th and Nate placed 5th.

Today was the 4th Indoor Time Trial for the ABD series. It consisted of a 10k hilly route, this was the last indoor time trial of the season that ABD will be putting on. WDT-Allvoi currently is holding second in the CAT 1/2's by Tomek, second overall in the CAT 3's by Doug, and for the womens Monika is fourth overall. There is only one more [outdoor] time trial left to wrap up the series and that will finalize the overall standings.

In the womens field today Monika took a solid fourth place finish with Tomek taking second in the 1/2's. WDT-Allvoi had three people racing in the 3's today all with very respectable times and many signs of improvement since the first one. Voytek placed 6th, Brian Akers took 4th, and Doug Peterson placed 2nd. Great job today!
